Woodchip
Our timber is sourced from locally managed woodlands and the logs are dried naturally on clean concrete for up to two years.A specialised chipper designed to produce fuel quality chip will guarantee a consistent, contaminant free fuel.The moisture content is checked throughout the delivery season and we aim to supply chip between 25 – 30%.
Our delivery vehicle can blow the chip directly into the storage hopper.
Storing your woodchip
- When designing the storage hopper there must be a safe access for the delivery vehicle with good lighting
- We can advise on dimensions and best delivery method for your property
- For a cost effective delivery, chip storage hoppers need to hold a minimum of 40 cubic metres (approx. 10 tonne) of chip
